FAQs
-
How long are your sessions?
Sessions range from 50-110 minutes. The length of the session will depend on what type of modality we are using and if we are doing a couples session or in person. It also depends on the client. Some clients feel overwhelmed in sessions that go longer than 50 minutes and other clients find 75 minutes or longer ideal to help them work through issues.
-
Do you do online appointments?
We do provide online appointments using secure technology. We have both been trained in using trauma treatment modalities via telehealth. Studies have shown that these modalities can be just as effective when performed over telehealth applications.
-
Will you both see us as a couple?
Yes, we often work with couples together. This can be an ideal situation for couples work as we can see the clients together and then also individually for working on individual issues and use a highly effective coordinated systems approach. This is one of our favorite ways to work with clients.
-
What are your cancelation policies?
We request that you provide us with 24 hour notice for a cancellation. In the event that a client misses more than one appointment without notice we bill the full amount for the appointment.
-
Where is your office located?
Our office is located in Conroe, TX. We have an office space with two meeting rooms and additional outdoor equine space for equine assisted therapy sessions.
-
What are your rates?
We charge $125 per 50 minute session. Rates are adjusted accordingly for additional time. A 75 minute session is $187.50. Our intensives are billed by the hour. So a four day intensive that included sixteen 50 minute sessions would cost $2000.
-
Do you have evening appointments?
Yes, we have some evening and weekend availability for people that need meeting times outside of the typical 8-5 workday. We will work to find a time that works for your schedule. Our goal is to make therapy accessible for those that are committed to the process.
-
Do you bill insurance?
At this time, we do not bill insurance. In some cases we can provide clients with a superbill that they can submit to their insurance to see if they will reimburse you for out of network services.
-
Do you offer reduced rates for clients with financial needs?
Yes, we offer sliding scale determined by each situation. Please contact us to discuss your budget and individual needs. We also offer reduced rates for individuals in the military, public safety, and first responders. Our goal is to make trauma therapy accessible for anyone that is committed to doing the work.
